Русский: Герб по традиционной схеме иллюстрирует административно-территориальную принадлежность: в верхней части щита – старый Киевский герб (Славутич относится к Киевской области). Согласно геральдической традиции голубой фон символизирует чистоту и невинность, черный - мудрость, осторожность и постоянство - это черты, которые необходимы городу атомной энергетики. Другое разъяснение этих цветов: черный – напоминание о Чернобыльской трагедии, которая стала причиной возникновения города, голубой – надежда на светлое будущее. Золотая звезда – попытка найти символ атомной энергетики вместо “модели” атома. Восемь ее концов – восемь республик, которые приняли участие в строительстве города, ее цвет означает могущество, силу.
